SDS Candidates at the Early Elections “A vote for the SDS candidates is a smart solution for Slovenia”

The SDS filed a complete list of candidates for members of parliament in all eight electoral units. The list is composed of 88 individuals, chosen among over 200 candidates, submitted to the Executive board by the SDS local committees. On the list there are 32 women, 15 candidates who are younger than 36 years, and the youngest candidate was born in 1990. The educational structure shows the SDS list offers 9 PhD’s, 14 candidates with a master degree, 33 candidates with a university degree and 9 with higher education.

Among the candidates for MPs, is the president of the SDS, Janez Janša, presidents of the committees of the SDS Expert Council, former ministers, state secretaries and the chairmen of various configurations of the EU Council from the time of the Slovenian presidency.

On the list of candidates there are MPs who have already engaged competently and to the benefit and prosperity of all citizens with the tasks entrusted to them. Since the SDS if fully aware of the challenges Slovenia has to face in today's Europe, in coordination and cooperation with other EU member states, the two MEPs Dr. Milan Zver and Dr. Romana Jordan Cizelj, are also candidates for the National Assembly. They have expertise and deep insights in European issues, and both of them are also chairing a committee of the SDS Expert Council.

The SDS candidates for MPs advocate European values ​​and are dedicated to the values ​​of honesty, solidarity and patriotism. Slovenian Democrats firmly believe that a vote for the SDS candidates is a smart solution for Slovenia.
